NoBob was founded by a mother in Chicago who is reinventing the way children and adults nap while traveling. With its patent pending NoBob and NoBobAir the founder focuses on ending the constant bobbing associated with sleeping in a sitting position. Together with her entrepreneur husband they focused on building products that make traveling better for everyone and have put a phenomenal team together to help bring the products to market.
After putting herself through Florida State University she started her career selling cars to humanitarian aid organizations in Ethiopia. Back in the United States she completed her Masters of International Management and transitioned her career to a become a hard working pharmaceutical sales representative. Even though it was a financial struggle, she decided to take time off to raise her kids. While driving, it pained her to see her kid’s head’s bob incessantly and she saw the need for NoBob.
Doron is an entrepreneur who loves working on industry changing ideas and leading companies from startup through growth stages. Along with his cofounders Mathew and Zachary Hyman he is currently running SpotOn, a leading marketing and loyalty platform for small to mid-sized businesses. Prior to SpotOn, he was founder and CEO of Arroweye Solutions, which has been selected as one of the Top 100 worldwide technology providers to the financial services industry as ranked by American Banker. He has also co-authored 11 Patents.
Colin Trethewey, APR
Colin is a Principal with PRmediaNow an agency specializing in crowdfunding which has helped over 50 crowdfunding campaigns raise a combined total of $19 million dollars… and counting.
Before PRmediaNow, Colin was a national technology correspondent and he hosted a weekly TV show called Tech Now - part of a 12 year journalism career as a news, business and technology anchor and reporter. His journalism career helped him master the art of presenting engaging stories about complicated technology concepts to mainstream news audiences. This is an invaluable skill in creating compelling stories for targeted journalists and newsroom decision makers.
John is a strategic B2C and B2B marketer specializing in digital strategy, omni-channel messaging, brand positioning including content strategy and market research for startups, Fortune 100 companies and government agencies including NASA and the US Department of Transportation.
Dad to five kids who have already outgrown their car seats, John wishes the NoBob had been around when his family of littles were still little. His passion for NoBob is fueled by the desire to save other parents the worry and distraction of little travel nappers sleeping uncomfortably in the car.
Brad has obtained degrees in American Studies from Colorado State University and Advanced Film Production/Producing from Tribeca Flashpoint College, and has gained professional and technical experience in producing, directing, cinematography, and editing through on-set production and real world experiences. He has developed projects for notable professional clients such as Harley Davidson, Tribeca Flashpoint College, TeacherCare, Women Tech Founders, United Way and many more. Bradley is also an instructor at Tribeca Flashpoint College and the founder of the Chicagoland based media production company Missing Button Entertainment.
Illustrator and graphic designer, or perhaps just a kid trapped in an adult’s body, Liliana loves creating endearing characters that burst into life with personality. She constantly moves between digital and analogue techniques in order to explore and identify the project’s nature.
With over 5 years experience in the design field, her main passion and skills are illustration and typography. She has mainly worked on projects for children and the young public, creating illustrations for editorial, products, toys, packaging, textiles, and also illustrations for educational apps.
Carlos Santiago is a Product Designer with a fine arts background that grew up among the color, vibrancy and brightness that is Puerto Rico. For the past few years his work has revolved around digital products, illustrations and photography. Carlos has worked as a UI/UX lead in various technology companies in Chicago for the last several years.
